Returning to Sunday Services
(Updated June 8, 2020)

Our Bishop, Alan Bard, has advised us that "it is vitally important to remember that reopening does not and cannot mean opening again as if there is no virus.  We cannot go back to a time before COVID.  As we re-open our buildings for gathering, attend thoughtfully and carefully to public health, the common good, and the well-being of others.”

We have currently re-opened the Sunday Morning, 10:30 AM Worship Service to allow anybody to join us in what is called our “studio congregation.”  The term “studio congregation” is used to emphasize, that for the foreseeable future, we are going to continue with the way we are doing worship.  Our worship services will continue to cater to those of you who are watching online rather than those sitting in the sanctuary.

We are keenly aware that many of you may continue watching our streaming worship online during the months ahead, until this pandemic has ceased.  We want you to know that you are important, and you are loved.  We are here for you.  So, we will continue to make the primary focus of our worship gathering a virtual one.  We will continue to make your worship experience online our top priority.

When you do come to worship in person, we will be asking you to abide by a set of guidelines (in accordance with the recommendations of the CDC). These are what we consider to be the practices that safe-guard one another should someone unknowingly bring the virus with them into the building.

Guidelines for Safely Gathering to Worship
  • Wear a face mask while moving about.
  • Refrain from hand-shakes and hugs.
  • Maintain six feet of distance from one another.
  • Sit at ends of pews or in chairs set up.
  • Do not sit or walk in roped off areas.
  • Sit only with your immediate family.
  • Use the provided hand sanitation stations.
  • Use the large envelope-slotted drop-baskets for offering before or after service.

Thank you for caring for one-another enough to protect one another.

"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
