Nursery & Cry Room
Nursery care for children 3 years old and under is available during Sunday worship where children are actively engaged in play and learning about God. A cry room with a window overlooking the sanctuary provides a way for parents to discretely address a concern with their children and still not miss a moment of worship. Both are located in the education wing and the nursery is staffed by volunteers on a rotation schedule. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the nursery or if you’d like to volunteer, please contact Anna Rittersdorf or Deana Schaffer through the church office.

Kids Club Sunday School
We value our children! The Children's Ministry team knows how challenging it is for families today because we have families too. The spiritual growth and development of our children is as essential as their emotional, mental, and physical development. Here at Ithaca United Methodist Church, we're committed to helping families address the spiritual needs of their children by providing meaningful classes and activities from birth through 6th grade.
The Children's Ministry Team has designed an exciting hands-on program for pre-school through 6th grade to experience
age-appropriate Sunday School in Biblical-themed classrooms. Kids will learn God's word through use of the Bible but also through art, music, drama, games, and movies. We love doing God's work with His kids!
Our Sunday School program runs the at the same time as our worship service. Preschool (4 years old by September 1st) through 6th grade gather in the sanctuary early in the service for the "Time Mostly for Children". After the brief lesson, Pastor Gary dismisses the kids to the education wing for Sunday School. We are leading our kids to grow their faith by leaps and bounds through a team of Sunday School teachers who want to share their love of Christ!
We've also provided a variety of activities throughout the year for our kids: children's choir, Christmas drama, and The Fortress just to name a few. We are looking forward to seeing you and would love to have you participate in one of our fun activities.

To ensure the safety of all children, each volunteer attends a child abuse prevention training seminar and submits to a background check.
