K-6 Sunday School

K-6 Sunday School . . . Come join us!

We value our children! They are not only important to God, they are important to us. The Children's Ministry team knows how challenging it is for families today because we have families too! The Spiritual growth and development of our children is as important as their emotional, mental and physical development. Here at Ithaca United Methodist Church we take seriously our role in helping families address the spiritual needs of children by having meaningful classes and activities for our children from birth through 6th grade.

The Children's Ministry Team has designed an exciting hands-on program for our children. Preschool through sixth grade will experience age-appropriate Sunday School in bibical theme classrooms. Kids will learn God's word through: use of the Bible but also through art, music, drama, games, storytelling, cooking, and movies. We love doing God's work with His kids!

In Worship on Sunday, we have a short Children's Message followed by the option of children four-years old to 3rd  grade going to Children's Church for their own activities and a lesson.

We have supervised nursery for infants and toddlers is open during Sunday School and worship service.

There are also a variety of activities throughout the year for our children: bell choir, children's choir, Christmas drama, dance team, Fortress 56 to name a few. Come join us!
